Chapter: Prologue

          "Mommy, what's happening?" asked a terror stricken 7 year old princess as she quickly ran to her mothers side.
          "Serena I need you to be strong for mommy and trust her okay?"Serenity pulled out a locket that held the silver medallion that only the princess could control.
          Serena nodded slowly hoping that she wouldn't have to leave the moon, but it seems the fates were against this princess for her mothers next words were. "Serena, I'm going to send you to Earth until the war with Beryl is over.  Serena I'm also going to have to erase your memories, but they will immediately release themselves when you need the most or when you and I are to reunite."
          The princess looked hesitant but agreed and her mother started the process of erasing her memories.
          Fifteen minutes later she was teleported to earth in hope that the young princess would be safe.  For she was the universes only hope for a peaceful future.

          Queen Gaia and her husband King Stephan were headed back to their palace after a very tiring night with one of the many lords.  When they heard Galen, 1st in guard to the royal family, yell for two of the other guards Gabriel and Yaten to come quickly.
          "My queen, it seems that we have found a injured little girl lying near the road," said Galen as he held up Serena for the Queen to see.
                     The queen immediately  loved the child, she had always wanted a daughter but was rendered unable after giving birth to her only child Endymion. "Ohhh, Stephan she is absolutely adorable can't we please take her to live with us?"
          "I don't see why not she seems like a perfectly charming child, and Endy could use another playmate," Stephan quickly took the child from Galen and laid her on the opposite bench from him and Gaia in the carriage.

          "Ahh, Dad why did you have to bring her here?  She's a girl!" Darien had been trying to figure out why his parents would even want to look at a girl for about twenty minutes now.
          Before Stephan could answer Serena let out a loud moan and slowly opened her eyes.  "Where am I?"
          "You are at the Golden Palace.  What is your name?" Queen Gaia was trying to help the girl by easing her slowly into answering all the questions awaiting.
          "I'm Serena.but that's all I can remember!" she said frustrated.
                     "See I told you that girls were stupid!  I bet she can't even shoot an arrow," Darien was yet again trying to get everybodys attention.
          "You want to bet!  I can shoot arrows better then you or your guards!"  Serena now got up and quickly got out of bed and raced Darien to the training room.
          "Those two will someday be the greatest lovers this world has ever seen,"Nephlite said quietly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                      Well Serena and Darien had their show down and Serena proved that she was very capable of handling a bow and arrow, while Darien proved to be better at sword fighting.  Serena was better at Languages, History, and understanding and interpreting visions.  While Darien was better at Math, Science, and receiving visions.
          Through the years Serena and Darien became closer and closer to each other.  They could finish each others sentences.  Queen Gaia and King Stephan adopted her and came to love her and Serena them.  She felt that she owed a great debt to the King and Queen and repaid it by treating the with kindness and respect of a true daughter.
          Seven years later the war with Beryl ended and Serenity began the long search for her daughter.  And so our story begins..
